Hire a Developer

Hire a developer on a clear monthly plan

Monthly developer plans for ongoing WordPress, PHP, front-end and application work, with a set allowance, clear priorities and agreed response times. White-label support for agencies, too.

Monthly plans

Pick the level of support you need

A task is one clearly defined change estimated at up to 2 hours of work. Plans do not include unlimited tasks or unlimited work in progress. Allowances reset each month, and unused tasks do not carry over.

How it works

From request to live change

  1. Step 1 of 5

    Send a request

Send each request in writing, by email or through the request channel agreed when your plan starts. Include the page or feature, what should change, and any files or access needed.

  2. Step 2 of 5

    We scope and estimate

We confirm whether it is one task, several tasks or a separate project. Anything larger than one task is estimated in writing first.

  3. Step 3 of 5

    You approve and prioritize

Nothing beyond a single task starts without your approval. You rank the queue, and we work from the top within your in-progress limit.

  4. Step 4 of 5

    We build and test

Changes are made and checked on a staging copy where your setup allows, then shared with you for review.

  5. Step 5 of 5

    You review, we go live

Once you approve, the change goes live and is counted against that month's allowance.

Plan rules

What a plan covers, and what it doesn't

What counts as a task

One clearly defined change, estimated at up to 2 hours of work. For example:

  • Fixing a layout or responsive issue
  • Adding or changing a section on an existing template
  • Setting up or configuring a plugin
  • A small PHP or JavaScript change
  • Fixing a specific, reproducible bug

A request estimated above 2 hours counts as more than one task, and we tell you how many before starting.

How priorities work

  • You set the order of your queue, and can change it at any time.
  • A site that is down, a broken checkout or form, or a security issue moves to the top of your queue.
  • Each plan has a limit on tasks in progress; the next task starts when one is finished.
  • Response times count business days (Monday to Friday) and mean a first reply, not a finished task.

Not included

  • New websites, redesigns and large features — these are quoted separately as projects
  • Third-party costs: hosting, domains, premium plugins, themes and API fees
  • Content writing, SEO campaigns and digital marketing
  • Round-the-clock or out-of-hours emergency cover
  • Unlimited tasks, or unlimited tasks in progress at the same time
For agencies

White-label development support

Agencies can bring us in behind the scenes for design-to-code, development and maintenance work delivered under their own brand. Scope, rates and terms are agreed with each agency before any work starts.

What we can take on

  • Designs converted to HTML/CSS and custom WordPress themes
  • WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify development
  • React, Next.js, Angular and Laravel builds
  • Maintenance for your clients' websites
  • HubSpot and Mailchimp email templates

How we work together

  • You own the client relationship and the brief
  • We work from your designs, specifications and tickets
  • Each piece of work is estimated before it starts
  • Work is delivered to your staging site or repository for your review

Communication

  • We talk to your team, not your client, unless you ask us to
  • One agreed channel: email, Slack or your project tool
  • Progress updates on each piece of work, and questions raised early

Confidentiality

  • No 99WebSol branding, credits or links in delivered work
  • We don't contact your clients directly
  • Your client projects aren't shown in our portfolio without your written permission
  • We can review your NDA before work begins

Handoff

  • Code delivered to your repository or as files, as agreed
  • Notes on what changed and how to configure it
  • Access and credentials returned or removed when the work ends
  • Go-live handled by your team, or by us on your instruction

Not sure which plan fits?

Tell us what you need built or changed each month, and we'll recommend a plan or quote the work as a project — no pressure, no obligation.
