About the client
Medinexa is a lab-order platform that brings doctors, diagnostic labs, and insurance payers together. Doctors get competitive pricing on lab tests, and labs get a steady stream of orders.
What we delivered
Separate dashboards for three user roles:
- Doctor dashboard: patient list, case overview, and a create-case flow with diagnosis (ICD-10), clinical notes, insurance details, priority (routine, urgent, or same-day STAT), and CPT-coded tests
- Lab dashboard: browse open orders, place bids, and manage accepted work through in progress to completed
- Bidding: bids calculated from each lab’s pricing against CPT base prices; the doctor compares bids and accepts one
- Payer dashboard: an insurance view of cases and coverage
- EHR connection: SMART on FHIR login to import patients from Epic, Cerner, and athenahealth
- Reference data: searchable CPT codes and medical conditions by category
