About the client
MyLogIQ provides structured intelligence on public companies through its CompanyIQ® platform and APIs. Its data covers SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, DEF 14A), board composition and governance, proxy proposals and voting outcomes, executive and director compensation, and audit fees, and is used by ratings companies, investors, and advisers.
The brief
MyLogIQ sells data, not a physical product, and its buyers are specialists. The website had to explain what the data covers and who it is for in plain terms, present each data product clearly, and give prospective customers enough confidence to get in touch, in a professional look that suits financial and governance audiences.
How we built it: design, HTML, then WordPress
Like every custom WordPress project at 99WebSol, this one moved through three stages, each signed off before the next began. Separating them means design decisions are settled before any code is written, and the front end is tested in the browser before it is tied to a CMS.
1. UI design
We designed the site first, working out how to present a broad data offering without overwhelming visitors: which products lead, how coverage such as SEC filings, governance and compensation is grouped, and where calls to action sit.
2. HTML, CSS and JavaScript conversion
The approved designs were converted into responsive, hand-coded HTML, CSS and JavaScript, keeping the markup clean and the pages light so content-heavy product pages still load quickly.
3. Custom WordPress theme
The HTML was then built into a custom WordPress theme, giving the MyLogIQ team control over pages and content from the WordPress dashboard.
What we delivered
A custom WordPress website presenting MyLogIQ’s data products to prospective customers. MyLogIQ has since moved its website to a new platform, so the site shown at mylogiq.com today is not the one we built.
