About the client

The client runs an online ordering platform for restaurants and food businesses. Each restaurant gets a branded ordering website, mobile ordering, and a catering portal, and many also have a WordPress website for their brand.

The challenge

Restaurants change all the time: new dishes, price updates, seasonal specials, holiday hours, and new photos. Restaurant owners did not have time to make these changes themselves, and the platform’s own team needed to focus on sales and new customers rather than day-to-day updates.

• New restaurant setup: business details, logo, brand colors, and opening hours, taken from the onboarding form
• Menus: adding and updating categories, menu items, descriptions, prices, sizes, and add-on options
• Food photos: resizing, cropping, and uploading item photos so every menu looks consistent
• Specials and promotions: limited-time items, combo deals, and discount codes
• Catering portals: catering menus, minimum order rules, and lead times
• Hours and availability: holiday hours, temporary closures, and items that are sold out
• App and site links: keeping online menu, app store, and catering links correct everywhere they appear

WordPress websites

• Content updates: new pages, text and image changes, banners, and announcements
• WooCommerce products: adding products, prices, images, categories, and stock levels
• Updates and security: WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates, backups, and uptime monitoring
• Speed and SEO basics: image optimization, meta titles and descriptions, and fixing broken links

How we work

Restaurants or the platform team send requests by email or through a shared form, with the details and photos. We make the change, check it on desktop and mobile, and confirm when it is live. Routine menu updates are usually live the same day.
